Kayla & Tim’s Wedding

Classic and timeless. Two words that perfectly describe Kayla & Tim’s wedding. Tim’s black tux and Kayla’s vintage-esque dress, with gorgeous pearls to match, made for a wonderfully classic look.

Kayla and Tim met in gym class in high school. Kayla was smitten the moment she saw him. Plenty of glances were stolen between the two. Kayla decided to wave at him one day while getting onto the bus. Though she felt a pang of regret and embarrassment after, feeling that perhaps it was strange thing to do since they hadn’t talked yet. But her wave prompted Tim to introduce himself the next day, which became the start of their friendship. It wasn’t until years later after high school that the two became a pair. They had their first date in a coffeeshop, and by that point Kayla was already head over heels. After they had their daughter, Adelaide, they talked about marriage but it seemed like timing just wasn’t right. Everything finally fell into place this past January when Tim proposed to Kayla. After a day at the zoo and Adelaide’s birthday dinner, Tim privately proposed in their home. Kayla says she was glad it hadn’t been publicly because she totally cried her eyes out.

Kayla juggled school while wedding planning and of course being a mom to Adelaide. Lots of stress, sleepless nights, (probably) tears, but all of it paid off.

After getting ready we headed to Heritage Park for Kayla and Tim’s first look. The sun was glowing behind the trees, making for gorgeous light. They shared a sweet moment before we began their bridal portraits. Kayla’s look is so beautifully timeless that if you were to make the photos of her sepia, it looks like it could’ve been taken 50 years ago or yesterday. The two looked stunning together. Their adorable little girl also looked extra adorable in her glitter shoes and lace dress that matched mommy’s. The three of them together made a picturesque family portrait.

A little sweet fact : Kayla’s veil was hand made by her mom -insert all the heart eyes here-

They held their ceremony and reception at Trinity Banquets and Receptions. Kayla and Tim had a touching first dance. The emotion of the day finally settled in and they lovingly looked at one another, teary-eyed.

They ended the night with a grand exit of bubbles.

Congratultions Kayla & Tim!
